Reviews
Who doesn't like chocolates 😋, It's a nice store to buy Choclates at discounted prices, especially truffles, we bought 150 assorted truffles just for $55, and the staff was really good and helpful. Overall experience was wonderful. Recommend all chocolate lovers to go and have a look. I am deducting just 1 star because I found chocolate bars were more expensive than normal stores like Shoppers Drug, walmart, Superstore, etc. When I am visiting brand's outlet then expect some discount or atleast same price like other stores not expensive.
I went in to buy some chocolate bags as Christmas gifts, I had a tiny dog in a travel backpack carrier (all zippered up and closed), I was just going to grab a few bags and pay when a lady came and told me I was not allowed inside because of hygienic reasons ("We are a food store", she said). The doggie was in a travel bag, he wouldn't even touch a thing for the 10 mins, I was going to be in the store. Most people don't even realize there is a doggie inside when it's zippered up as it's hard to see him behind the net, she could have just kept quiet, the store was super crowded anyway, not like she had nothing else to do for the approximately 10 mins. I was going to spend $100+, but I didn't buy anything and would never visit again.
I love Lindt chocolates and this is the place to go for a variety of different flavours and chocolate treats. They had a nice sale going on, 100 chocolates for 35$ and I got to pick a nice variety of different flavours! They have a new blueberry and salted caramel flavour for their Lindt chocolate and I really enjoyed it!
Always friendly staff & great deals on chocolates. Like the variety they have as well. It’s a good place to load up on goodies
Been multiple times and the customer service is always stellar. Associates know the products and are helpful! The gift boxes are beautiful and you can't go wrong with the mix and match Lindt balls. They also have all the bars they make in this store, which is really handy!
After being so excited with my 7 year old daughter after reading about the Lindt Store at the Designer Outlet Mall in Richmond and all the different colours and flavours...we drove all the way from Penticton in great anticipation.
Staff doesn't look happy and we're quite rude, charged for the extra bag we used to get 75 PCs and just a
terrible customer experience. The reason is they commented our bag is overflowing and put another bag in our hands and then charged us. We'll enjoy these chocolates but our relationship with Lindt/Lindor comes to an end.
This review isn't about the chocolate it's about the store and the staff that represents them. It's obvious there is something wrong with their corporate culture.
I wanted to read through past reviews to see if people shared the same sentiment about their customer service, specifically the heavier set lady with long brown hair who appears to be the manager. She's quite condescending and either impatient or just has a lack of social skills. I was only in there for a quick purchase as I knew what I wanted. But in the 5 minutes I was there, I queued in on how rude and belittling she was towards her own staff worker because the till wasn't working properly. I then watched her grab a bag of chocolates from a lady and go and measure it on the scale - much to her surprise and likely non-consent. She literally grabbed it right out her hands while she stood in line. So yeah, there's a lot of similar comments. Some state that the staff are rude and nobody looks happy to work there. I'm thinking that vibe comes from the top down. Kind of looks like a miserable place to work. I'll never allow my child to work for somebody like that.
We selected a box of Pick & Mix 150 chocolates. We picked and counted them in batches of 10 to ensure accuracy. While counting, a staff member approached us and expressed concern that we were taking too many. We assured her that we were counting accurately, but she insisted on weighing the box. After weighing it, she told us we could take an additional 18 chocolates, even though we knew we were only 15 short of our target.
We took the 18 chocolates as instructed, but then the staff member removed 4 chocolates from the box, leaving us with a total of 149. We said it’s short but she said it’s corrected. We proceeded to the checkout. However, another staff member who was so rude came over insisted on weighing the box again, even though we had already been checked three times. This time, she claimed that we were 3 chocolates over the limit.
We became frustrated because we were certain that we had gotten fewer than 150 chocolates.
Despite complying with the staff's instructions and weighing the chocolates, they persisted in coming over to weigh them and challenged us again. It was evident that they did not know what they were doing and seemed to be playing the customers. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable.
The manager insisted that they trusted only the scale, and that we had indeed gotten more than 150.
Upon returning home, we emptied the box and counted every single chocolate, only to find that we had gotten 146 chocolates in total.
We caution others to be careful when shopping at this store, as they do not honor the quantity. We recommend pouring out and counting all items in front of the staff to avoid being treated as a thief.
